Here's a quick Spider-man pin-up I digitally colored in PS-CS5. Traditional pencils (H lead on bristol 9x12...if anyone wants the original pencils let me know and I'll post them).
Also wanted to say this was the first image I've colored since taking the "Art of Coloring Comics" course on Udemy by
kmichaelrussell . His course was a great learning experience for me. He teaches an extremely well-organized approach to coloring comics in Photoshop while also providing some great time-saving actions and helpful toolsets. The course covers alot so check out his DA page for details.
Admittedly this coloring job was a bit rushed as I didn't carefully flat the image but I think the end result gets the point across of the "cut & grad" style. Having said all that this image took me less than 30 minutes to color using the skills and tools I got from the course. If you get a chance check it out...I think you'll be very pleased.

I really like how tight you kept his body and muscle structure in this. To me, this is how he should look. I love all the dramatic poses of todays styles but many guys round him out to much. Makes him seem soft to me. Should be a super tight swimmers build.
Id love to see more of this style.
